SDSCPA is a public arts focused Title I magnet middle school and high school. Friends of SCPA is a volunteer and charitable IRC 501(c)(3) organization that supports SDSCPA student and faculty needs.

We need your help. With your contribution, SDSCPA students will have opportunities that will change their lives and open doors to their future.

Currently, there are three crowdfunding campaigns being sponsored benefiting:                1) the Dance Department (Master Classes, Visiting Choreographers, Dance Intensives)  2) the Music Department (*NEW* Piano Lab)                                                                            3) the Theatre Department (send four students to the Open Jar Summer  Institute) 

SDSCPA Dance Department -                           Learn about SDSCPA Dance Connections! Help students realize their dreams by providing opportunities to all of our dancers by funding not only the National High School Dance Festival but also the Regional High School Dance Festivals, on-site auditions, master classes, visiting choreographers and dance intensives.

SDSCPA Music Department -                       The Music Department would like to create  a Yamaha LC4 Basic Music Lab to accommodate 32 students and 1 teacher with NP31 Digital Pianos. The piano lab comes with keyboards, headsets and a master station.  An generous gift by an Anonymous Donor will match $7,500 in donations towards this lab! Your dollar is now worth DOUBLE!! Can you help? Only $4,400 needed to reach $20,000 GOAL.

Did you help send students to the 2018 Reno Jazz Festival held in April 26-28? It is one the most important Jazz festivals in the United States. Students from all over the Western US travel to compete, be adjudicated and participate in master classes by world renowned musicians.  Funds were raised to send 29 musicians and vocalists to the Festival. The experience was invaluable. Student smiles big. Thank you for your help.

SDSCPA  Theatre Department -            Help send SDSCPA four Musical Theatre     students to   the Open Jar Summer Institute in NYC for one week - working with Broadway professionals! Five days of high intensity workshops include acting, singing, dance and audition technique - all taught by Broadway professionals. Consider making a difference in a student's future today.
